- Cut Potato,Carrot ,Onion,Split the chilli and boil it for 3 whistles in pressure cooker along with ginger-garlic paste,peas ,salt and turmeric.Take water just enough to boil it or you might have to boil for some more time to remove the excess before proceeding to next step
- Add coconut milk,cook in low flame,until it starts to thicken .
- Switch off,Heat oil in small kadai or pan ,pur oil,crackle mustard,dry chilli and curry leaves.Pour into the Coconut mix.
- Serve hot with Puri or Appam
While seasoning ,first u can add fenugreek seeds ,gives a good flavour followed by remaining ingredients.Also along with oil you can mix one pinch of ghee for those who like ghee.
